Ask or Think is a 501(c)3 non-profit ministry governed by a board of directors organized to see God do above all that ‘we could ever ask or think’. Ephesians 3:20. Specifically, Ask or Think Ministries reaches around the country and world through these specific ministries.
The board of directors provides much needed oversight and vision to the ministry of Ask or Think. Accountability to both the Lord and to others is the best way to stay on track and dedicated to our mission to see God do more than we could Ask or Think. Each board member has a unique area of expertise and is able to offer helpful advice that is spiritually grounded. The board of directors is responsible for approving annual goals, annual budget and of the overall vision of the ministry. The board meets at a minimum of once a year to provide this support. The majority of the day-to-day operations of Ask or Think are carried out by Ben Schettler, President and Makenzie Schettler, Chief Operations Officer, and our Executive Assistant, Kayla Barcomb.
Ben is a speaker, researcher, consultant, entrepreneur, cultural missionary and passionate follower of Christ. As a speaker he has delivered over 700 keynote addresses on four continents and 37 of the 50 states. As a consultant he has advised leadership teams and most recently served as the Faith Outreach Adviser to Dr. Ben Carson and his campaign for presidency. Ben has also written for a nationally syndicated radio show, The Legal Alert, and served as producer and co-host of the Creation Today television show syndicated on the Christian Television Network. Ben oversees the day to day operations of Ask or Think including the Pure. Truth. Movement.
Makenzie travels and speaks to ladies and teen girls; as well as uses her talents of music and drama at special events. She is involved in every aspect of Ask or Think from overall vision to detailed organizational systems and considers it a unique blessing to serve side-by-side with her husband, Ben. Makenzie taught performing arts both in Radcliff, Ky and Miami, Fla. While living in Tampa, she worked in the corporate online education system. She even briefly taught modeling and runway walking while living in Miami. Makenzie is also a small business owner along with her husband where she oversees the day-to-day operations.
Cranston is currently the Lead Pastor at Abundant Life Bible Church in Nassau, Bahamas. Cranston holds both a bachelors degree in evangelism and Master of Arts degree. He has traveled in evangelism throughout the United States. As leader of Abundant Life, Cranston has been an influential preacher on the Island of the Bahamas and continues to lead in his country. Cranston's knowledge of evangelism, as well as his heart to see souls saved brings a spiritual and kingdom minded perspective to the decisions of Ask or Think.
Keith is a public relations and marketing specialist. He has worked for the corporate leadership consulting firm, Red Rock, worked in corporate America, and served as the head of communications for the Christian Law Association during the Terri Schiavo case. Keith is an active member of his church and serves as the chairman of the Tampa Bay Leadership Prayer Breakfast.
Rachel is a certified public accountant and has worked for almost 10 years at the Aronson Firm in Washington, D.C. Her reliability and expertise have propelled her up the corporate ladder. Rachel provides consulting services and performs audits on publicly traded companies, is active in her local church and has a heart for ministry. Rachel has an attention to detail as well as a helpful understanding of finances. Her advice is greatly valued.
Kayla has served as the executive assistant for Ask or Think since March 2017. Her attention to detail, problem solving attitude, and focus have proven valuable to Ask or Think Ministries. She has over five years of experience working in office administration. She enjoys serving the Lord in her local church’s preschool ministry as well as serving in Vacation Bible School. When not working on the day-to-day operations of Ask or Think, she enjoys spending family time with her husband of 3 years and their 10-month old baby girl.
Angie works virtually from her home in California to reach out to ministries that may be interested in attending or hosting one of the many Pure.Truth. Conference events. She works directly with volunteer representatives and coordinates promotion of the events. She is wife to Jake, who serves as a Youth Pastor and School Administrator, and mom of three. Her persistence is key to our conference attendance success.
